2015 Subaru Legacy Production Model Leaked Photos
For the last month, we have been giving you the skinny on a lot of the future Subaru models that continue to hit auto shows around the world, including the Subaru Legacy Concept. As we stated earlier, the Legacy concept would inspire a future production model which would be unveiled at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show, but it turns out that we don’t have to wait any longer to see the anticipated model. A set of 2015 Subaru Legacy production model leaked photos have hit the internet ahead of the model’s debut at this week’s auto show and we have to say that we like what we see.
Unfortunately the production model does not closely resemble the conceptual design as much as we originally hoped, but we still really like the way that it looks. The front end has received a major overhaul, and if you had to ask us, we think that it closely resembles the front end of the all-new 2015 Subaru WRX—at least as far as the headlights are concerned.
The coupe-like design from the Subaru Legacy concept model isn’t really noticeable on the production model, but we had a feeling that would happen as Subaru always puts safety ahead of design, which of course, is never a bad thing. The design of the production model seems to mash together aspects from a number of different Subaru models, so we would have to imagine that the 2015 model will pull in the same top safety rating as the 2014 model.
As of right now, we don’t have any information about what will be found under the hood of the all-new Legacy, but we will have that information and more when the 2015 Subaru Legacy production model gets its debut at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show. Be sure to check back on the Briggs Subaru blog for all of that information later on this week.
While you wait for our in-depth look at the new Legacy, be sure to check out the leaked photos of the 2015 Subaru Legacy production model below. They don’t really provide much information about what the model will come with, but it gives us a good idea of what the production model will look like. This is definitely one car that we’re looking forward to getting in our new car inventory.
